So while watching The Hobbit films recently I thought a play on words with The Shire and Shia LeBeouf would be a fun idea. After a bit of brain-storming, I was brought to this vision involving the "Actual Cannibal Shia LaBeouf." So thanks to Lynn for helping with this one!

TRAIN DOODLE #008: Sonic, Tails & Indy

Happy 1 year doodleversary! Yep, been doodling on till roll and train tickets for a year now... is anyone looking at them yet?...?... Look out for some possible tweaks to the branding over the next few weeks to get it a little more up to date and shiny.

So I wanted to shove Sonic and Tails in their little mine carts as part of this train but as that didn't take up a lot of space I thought it'd be fun to also put Indiana Jones in there. Even though I already did young Indy earlier, I just couldn't go without including that iconic mine cart scene that I always thought inspired those Sonic levels. Oh, and happy 25th anniversary to Sonic and 35th anniversary to Indy too!

Harassed by Chris for Drawing Ideas REQUEST

So for Chris' final request (for now) he wanted a picture of me being constantly harassed by him for drawing ideas. Of course I encourage all requests, saves me coming up with stuff.

TRAIN DOODLE #007: Harry Potter Hogwarts Express

Trains are pretty iconic in Harry Potter. A lot happens on the ol' Hogwarts Express. When I first thought of this I was thinking about the scene when they first meet but as that's inside a carriage it would be too difficult to tell what was going on and I can't zoom in. The other two most iconic things are the bridge the train travels over and the platform but I can't zoom out enough to show those. I also didn't want to do the front of another train so early. Then I remembered the scene with the flying car and that the Dementors (as seen pretty recently drawn on some till roll) were seen floating around at one point so decided to combine those ideas into this.

Drunk Superheroes: The Hulk

It's been over 60 doodles since I did a drunk superhero. Can't believe I didn't think this one up sooner too, it seems so obvious now.

Dementor Vs Ringwraith

There are many parallels between Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings characters, such as giant spiders, old white bearded wizards, giant trolls and I'm sure many more. I'm also sure you can connect both of these to other films/books/whatevers too, but one of the the biggest that stood out to me was the similarities between the Nazgûl from Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter's Dementors. They do have their own origins, abilities and motivation, but personally I always found them fairly similar in appearance and the way they both track down the protagonists. I just wondered what would happen if these two were up against each other. Who do you think might win in such a fight?

TRAIN DOODLES #005: Rushing Roulette

The classic handcar as seen in many cartoons had to make an appearance somewhere. This time we visit the Roadrunner episode, Rushing Roulette from 1965. Usually these would be found individually rather than in the middle of a train but we need some kind of backup for when Homer falls asleep.

Mini Minotaur

When I realised that the word "Minotaur" sounded like it could have connections to the word miniature (much like my equilibrium doodle) I thought it was the perfect time to crack out an old character from an animation I made 12-13 years ago in college.

Shopping Maul

Thought of this idea when drawing the other Darth Maul doodle a couple of weeks ago. Thought it would make an amusing image and I think it did.
