Tales from the Till Roll: I AM NOT A ROBOT!

Now that there's a second "Tales from the Till Roll" we can officially class it as a series. Whenever I work behind a till there's a bit of paper behind it which, among other things, says "Remember, you are not a robot." I think it might be lying. Of course whoever wrote that was unaware of the origins of the word "robot." The word "robot" comes from "robota" which, in Czech and a few other European languages, means "labour," "drudgery," "hard work" and "servitude." Either they didn't know or they didn't expect anyone reading it to be aware of the origins to pick apart the irony of the statement.

Tales from the Till Roll: There's a Little Shoe in Aisle Two!

I came up with "Tales from the Til Roll" as a little sub/alternate title for Working Doodles (as seen in the banners and other such branding) but I now may make it a little series of shop related doodles. Don't worry, they won't all be little quaint rhymes based on real events, some of them will be the usual fun tales of existential anguish and torture you all look forward to.
